Hello beautiful and welcome to The Style Lounge in Reading, MA! I'm Kara Sennott, originally from Wilmington, MA and am now proudly serving the Reading Community.
As a busy, working mom, I know exactly how important it is to take a break from everyone else and treat yourself to a personal care service that will leave you feeling special and beautiful. I've designed my salon experience in a way that emphasizes making you feel uplifted, relaxed and more confident than you've ever felt before.
I've been a hairstylist for 14+ years and now providing a luxurious space for both my guests and my team, I have never been more satisfied in my career! As the owner and a hair specialist myself, I take great pride in the fact that I am constantly encouraging and engaging both my team and myself in all types classes and education throughout the year.
While most stylists offer a great first visit and solid maintenance care thereafter, I see my role a bit differently. I work together with all of my guests to create a long-term hair care plan to ensure their hair always looks fresh and healthy and there won't ever be a time where you feel bored or stuck in a routine that doesn't work for you anymore. I'll be checking in throughout the year to see if any new surprises have come up and we'll work through them together.
When I'm not in the salon, I can be found hanging with my family! When I get the chance, I also love to travel to either a beautiful beach somewhere for some sun and sand or Disney World for excitement! I know all the tips to keep your hair looking amazing even after a dip in the ocean or a day at the amusement park!
